Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the standardization, consolidation, and preparation of system documentation for the FLAGCIS maritime deployable communication & information system modules.
  • Publishes, communicates, and implements a realizable information knowledge management (IKM) plan for operational system documentation for the FLAGCIS system to include timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities for drafting and approval.
  • Assists in the production, validation, and refinement of system level and technical documentation, operating procedures, maintenance plans, technical schematics, checklists, and operator/technical manuals.
  • Supports the coordination of documentation of infrastructure and CIS connectivity requirements to upgrade facilities for FLAGCIS.
  • Monitors, records, and reports progress of the IKM plan fulfillment, notes observations and exceptions, and proposes alternate production plans in case of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Provides advice to key stakeholders including, but not limited to: NCIA Service Level and Service Delivery Managers, Service owners, Commander CSU, Branch Heads, Principal Technicians, MARCOM HQ personnel, and AIRBUS technicians.
  • Provides support to FLAGCIS validation and integration technicians as required.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant hands‑on experience in the creation, planning, and management of Information and Knowledge Management of technology-related artefacts.
  • Expert knowledge of the MS Office suite is required.

Desirable Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or related discipline.
  • Experience in creating Information Knowledge Management Plans.
  • Experience in drafting technical documentation, including system‑level and technical documentation, operating procedures, maintenance plans, technical schematics, checklists, and operator/technical manuals.

Skill, Knowledge & Experience

  • Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation and user guides is required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Customer focus: Demonstrates a customer‑centric approach, maintaining high standards for quality and productivity while achieving project goals and building trust with stakeholders.
