Role Overview

Hinkley Point C is a major UK nuclear project supporting Net Zero targets. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery. A solid work ethic and professional approach are essential.

Nuclear experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with relevant transferable skills from other sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will take full ownership of assigned projects, managing delivery from start to finish. This includes planning, coordinating teams, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • You will oversee day‑to‑day site and project activity, track progress against programme, manage materials and resources, and deal with any issues that impact delivery.
  • You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and contractors, maintaining strong working relationships and representing the business professionally.
  • You will also manage commercial performance, including costs, variations, and reporting, ensuring projects remain on track financially.
  • Health and safety is critical. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards on site and ensuring all work complies with regulations and company processes.

Experience

  • Background in electrical engineering
  • Experience delivering projects in construction, engineering, or a regulated environment
  • Nuclear experience beneficial but not essential
  • Strong project management and communication skills

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Electrical underpinning knowledge
  • Proven track record in large scale projects in the nuclear or similar regulated sector, including major EPC projects.
  • Recognised Electrical or Construction bias qualification
  • CCNSG Or HSE Maps
