  • Integrate outdoor adventure learning (such as orienteering, team-building challenges, and woodland trails) into your physical education sessions.
  • Use sports and physical movement to help pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs channel energy, build self-esteem, and learn self-regulation.
  • Work alongside the provision’s therapeutic farm and domestic animals, utilizing animal care and outdoor movement to support holistic learner well-being.

  • Proven experience or a strong willingness to work entirely in outdoor environments and a high level of comfort interacting with therapeutic farm and domestic animals.
  • Evidence of training in recognized positive behavior management or de-escalation frameworks (e.g., Team Teach, PRICE, or MAPA) is highly desirable.
