Staff Nurse Outpatients

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Registrant to join a team of dedicated professionals in the busy expanding Glenfield Outpatients Department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of care with compassion and commitment.
• Effectively engage with patients, peer groups, and service users, leading by example and promoting a supportive and caring culture.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement with patient welfare at the heart of all you do.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of evidence‑based nursing care for a group of patients.
• Actively contribute to setting and maintaining high standards of quality nursing care.
• Act as a clinical and professional role model, assessing and supporting students and learners on placement within the clinical area.

Qualifications and Requirements

• NMC registration is essential.
• Physical capability to frequently walk and stand for long periods, and to use manual handling equipment such as hoists, trolleys, and wheelchairs.
• Flexibility to work in other designated locations of the Trust, including Leicester Royal Infirmary, Glenfield Hospital, Loughborough NCSEM, and Leicester General Hospital. Travel reimbursement may not apply for permanent or temporary changes of base if the initial location is one of these sites.
