What you will do:

  • Manage a caseload: of complex and high-risk cases, ensuring safeguarding practice is adhered to.
  • Work collaboratively: with other practitioners to provide expert guidance on complex cases.
  • Ensure care and support plans are person-centred and focus on promoting independence.
  • Develop best practice: in safeguarding, working closely with Safeguarding Officers.
  • Lead and chair: adult protection operational meetings to address high-risk cases.
  • Support interventions requiring complex court work, particularly in the Court of Protection.
  • Contribute to service developments and specific projects, aiming to improve outcomes for individuals.
  • Authorise and quality assure all documentation to ensure evidence-based decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of learning through peer review initiatives and the promotion of high standards.
