REGISTERED MANAGER CHILDRENS HOME

Role: Registered Manager

• Location: Lymington, SO41
• Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Size/ Type of Home: 2 Bed EBD/ LD
• Occupancy: 2 CYP, been within the home for several years and very settled
• Ofsted: GOOD
• Company: Small, independent provider with homes all rated GOOD
• Therapeutic Model: Using PACE and DDP
• Dual Registration also an option should this be of interest
• Will also consider a Manager in Training – this role will offer structured support whilst training towards becoming a Registered Manager
• A full and clean Driving License

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience within children’s residential care, including minimum 1 year at Deputy Manager level or above
• Confident leadership: Hands‑on experience leading teams supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and/ or Learning Disabilities (LD)
• A therapeutic ethos: your overall mindset, values, and way of working with children that promotes healing, emotional safety and wellbeing
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding responsibilities, and Ofsted requirements
• A dedicated drive to maintain outstanding standards in care quality and regulatory compliance
• Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or currently working toward this)
