About the role
We are recruiting a full time, permanent Business Officer to provide high quality administrative support to the SEND Access to Resources Team.
The Access to Resources Team sits in the wider Commissioning Team and the service delivers outcomes for children and young people who need access to education placements identified through their EHCP.
Our Business Officer is an important role at the heart of the high-quality service we provide.
You will be part of a highly motivated team, working closely with a range of Education and Social Care professionals, making sure we always deliver the best outcomes for our Children and Young People. The role is a hybrid role with an office base at New Shire Hall.

About you
You will be an organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn and develop, an excellent communicator, both spoken and written.
Along with GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade A-C or equivalent, you will be experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook packages and have the ability to work with set processes/procedures. You will have previous experience in calendar management, setting up meetings and taking minutes.
You will work effectively with colleagues as part of a team and have a willingness to learn and progress with a “can-do” attitude.
