Job Title: Social Work Team Manager – Harm Outside the HomeLocation: Slough, UKSalary: £42.84 per hour

Lead and manage the Harm Outside the Home team within Children’s Services in Slough.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of social workers, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Implement and monitor staff performance evaluations, ensuring continuous professional development.
• Oversee case management, making key decisions and providing direction to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
• Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure coordinated and effective service provision.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements, maintaining up-to-date social care knowledge.
• Participate in strategic planning to enhance service delivery and contribute to the overall development of the children’s services.

Requirements

• Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Demonstrated experience in a managerial capacity, such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
• Possess significant frontline experience in Children’s Services in a leadership role.
