Job Introduction

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Regional Services Manager to lead the delivery of high quality operational services across a portfolio of Government sites within and around the Yorkshire area.

This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for operational performance, financial management, client relationships, compliance, and people leadership across a designated region. You will play a pivotal role in driving service excellence, maximising profitability, ensuring contractual compliance, and developing high performing teams.

What you’ll do

  • Drive operational and financial performance, ensuring contracts consistently achieve agreed budgets, KPIs, and service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer experiences and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high‑performing teams, creating an engaged culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with contractual requirements, health and safety legislation, company policies, and audit standards.
  • Manage regional budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to maximise profitability while maintaining service excellence.
  • Monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Conduct regular service reviews and performance assessments to ensure contractual obligations and SLAs are consistently achieved.
  • Champion a positive health, safety, and wellbeing culture across all sites.
  • Support business growth by identifying opportunities to expand services, strengthen client partnerships, and deliver added value.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational effectiveness, strengthen compliance, and exceed client expectations.

What you bring

  • Full UK Driving Licence (must be over 25 for insurance purposes)
  • Proven operational management experience within a multi‑site or complex service environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing diverse teams.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to interpret financial data and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong organisational and planning abilities with experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and able to work independently while supporting wider business objectives.

Desirable

  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
  • Experience within Defence, Government, Facilities Management or outsourced service contracts.
  • Experience balancing client and customer expectations within a complex operational environment.
