Pay Rates
- Standard Rate: £15.38 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £19.99 per hour
Location & Working Pattern
Location: Portbury, Bristol BS20.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday.
Start Times: Between 05:00 and 06:30.
Average Weekly Hours: Approximately 48 hours.
Flexibility: Some flexibility may be required to meet operational requirements.
The Role
HG Recruitment is seeking reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne (C1) Drivers to join a busy distribution operation in Portbury.
This is a multi‑drop delivery role involving the delivery of bathroom and plumbing products to trade customers and business locations across the region.
Drivers will play a key role in ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Duties
- Carrying out multi‑drop deliveries to commercial and trade customer locations.
- Delivering bathroom and plumbing products safely and efficiently.
- Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Loading and unloading products where required.
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely.
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and electronic records.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Adhering to Driver Hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Reporting vehicle defects or delivery issues to the transport office.
- Representing HG Recruitment and our customer professionally at all times.

Requirements
- Valid C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 6 months’ 7.5 Tonne (C1) driving experience.
- Multi‑drop delivery experience desirable.
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable and professional approach.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to complete manual handling duties where required.
