About the Role

Reactive Access Planner – Balfour Beatty – Connect Plus Services (CPS). We are supporting the M25 London Orbital Motorway project. CPS is a joint venture between Balfour Beatty, Atkins and Egis, responsible for operating and maintaining the M25.

Location: Dartford, Leatherhead or South Mimms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordinating access for reactive works across the network.
  • Liaising with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to agree access arrangements.
  • Ensuring all access requests meet safety and compliance standards.
  • Managing changes to plans and responding quickly to operational challenges.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of access.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a planning, scheduling or access planning role (utilities, rail or highways desirable).
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements in a live operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to reactive demands.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement, particularly local authorities.
