Senior Bid Manager
Location: National, with occasional travel
Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience

Are you an experienced Bid professional ready to lead high-impact tenders and drive business growth? We’re looking for a Senior Bid Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, shaping compelling proposals that win new business and showcase our expertise.
The Role
As Senior Bid Manager, you’ll lead the bid function and play a key role in securing new opportunities. From initial strategy through to client presentations, you’ll ensure every submission is innovative, high-quality, and aligned to client needs.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, operational teams, and subject matter experts, you’ll create tailored solutions that set us apart in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all tender activity to support business growth
- Oversee the full bid lifecycle – from kick-off and strategy to submission and presentation
- Manage and develop the bid team, ensuring high-quality, creative outputs
- Collaborate with operational teams to build compelling value propositions
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and presentations
- Coordinate Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), RFIs, and supplier registrations
- Track and manage opportunities via CRM systems
- Ensure brand consistency and promote company guidelines across all bid materials
About You
- Proven track record in bid management and bid writing, delivering successful outcomes
- Strong understanding of Facilities Management, particularly Hard FM solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with strong project management capability
- Confident influencing and managing stakeholders at all levels
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience)
- APMP qualification desirable
- Experience with InDesign beneficial
