With clinics in London and Manchester and the option of online assessments, the service is accessible to clients nationwide. Since 2009, the team has provided holistic, evidence-based care for thousands of people with ADHD and ASD, earning “I Want Great Care” certificates of excellence in 2023 and 2024. Care is led by highly experienced, GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrists, supported by specialist coaches and psychologists. In addition to individual support, The ADHD Centre partners with employers to create inclusive, neurodiversity-friendly workplaces through tailored advice, accommodations, and training.

Role Description This is a remote, contract role for experienced neurodiversity clinical psychologists and educational psychologists at The ADHD Centre. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for Autusm and educational needs assessments and related neurodevelopmental conditions, including clinical interviews, standardised testing, and report writing. You will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, psychoeducation, and feedback sessions to clients and their families or support networks. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical records, contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions, and coordinating care with psychiatrists, coaches, and other professionals. You will also support the development of tailored recommendations for educational settings and workplaces, helping clients access reasonable adjustments and thrive in learning and occupational environments.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Psychology, with specialist training and experience in neurodevelopmental and neurodiversity-focused practice.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Psychological Testing, including administration, scoring, interpretation, and integrated clinical report writing for ADHD, ASD, and related conditions.
  • Experience in Mental Health assessment and intervention, including risk assessment, safeguarding awareness, and management of co-occurring conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, learning differences).
  • Experience in delivery of evidence-based therapies, psychoeducation, and person-centred, trauma-informed approaches.
  • Experience in Clinical Supervision or willingness to participate in supervision, peer consultation, and quality improvement processes.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Educational Psychology, or equivalent) and current professional registration (e.g., HCPC or equivalent regulatory body).
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, preferably in neurodevelopmental, educational, or community mental health settings.
  • Excellent written communication skills for detailed assessment reports and clear recommendations for schools, universities, and workplaces.
  • Comfort with remote practice, including secure video consultations, digital record-keeping, and adherence to data
