Are you a scientist, laboratory technician or engineer looking to move into a customer-facing technical role?
Our client is a well-established international manufacturer of scientific instrumentation used across pharmaceutical, food, chemical and research industries. To support customers throughout the UK and Ireland, they are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer .
The Role
- Preventative maintenance and servicing of laboratory instrumentation
- Instrument qualification activities
- Installation and commissioning of new systems
- Technical troubleshooting and customer support
- Building long-term customer relationships
Following comprehensive training in the UK and Europe, you’ll become responsible for managing your own customer visits and schedule, working closely with scientists and engineers across a diverse range of industries.
About You
- Degree or experience in a science or engineering discipline
- Interest in instrumentation and problem solving
- Strong communication skills
- Organised and customer-focused
- Full UK driving licence
Laboratory, analytical instrumentation or qualification experience would be advantageous, but attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
Package
- Salary £30,000-£40,000
- Fully funded company car with private use
- 10% employer pension contribution
