Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: North of England – Hybrid (infrequent travel)

Salary: £80–90K + benefits

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to design scalable, future-ready solutions within a large, customer-focused digital environment

You’ll act as the design authority across key programmes, shaping end-to-end solutions across digital, CRM, CMS and integration platforms. Working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders, you’ll translate business needs into clear, practical architecture designs that support long‑term scalability and value

Key Responsibilities

• Define current and future state architecture
• Lead solution design decisions (build vs buy, integrations, vendor selection)
• Deliver scalable, cost-effective architectural designs
• Identify risks, duplication and technical debt
• Contribute to roadmaps across customer and digital platforms
• Support governance and ensure architectural alignment
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams
• Communicate designs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience & Skills:

• Strong experience as a Solutions Architect in complex environments
• Integration expertise across SaaS, legacy and custom systems
• Experience with CRM, CMS and customer/transactional platforms
• Ability to balance scalability, cost and delivery timelines
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Background in software engineering or application architecture
• Experience defining standards, patterns and reusable components
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience
