Veterinary surgeon for brand new practice – West London

A new opportunity has arisen for experienced Veterinary Surgeons to play a key role in launching a purpose‑built practice serving the communities of West London. Rather than joining an already established structure, this position offers the chance to help shape a brand‑new surgery from the outset, working closely with the Head Vet to define how the practice develops. The environment has been carefully designed to support both patients and staff, with a modern, spacious layout and high‑quality equipment throughout.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of first‑opinion cases.
• Carry out routine and advanced surgical procedures.
• Promote preventive healthcare and client education.
• Build strong relationships with clients.
• Support and mentor the nursing team.
• Contribute to a culture of high clinical standards and collaboration.

Working Pattern

• Four days per week with nine‑hour shifts.
• Participation in a one‑in‑four weekend rota.
• Average of 39 hours weekly.
• Dedicated administrative time within each shift.
