Employee Relations Analyst – Human Resources Partner

This role sits within a specialist people function, focusing on employee relations and supporting organisational change across a complex business environment. You’ll partner closely with HR and leadership teams to manage sensitive ER matters, guide restructuring activity, and ensure policies and processes are aligned with current legislation.

A bit about the role

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to support organisational change, including restructuring and redeployment activity.
  • Manage a range of employee relations cases, including complex and high-risk matters, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Collaborate with legal teams where needed to navigate sensitive or escalated situations.
  • Lead and support investigations, providing clear recommendations based on findings.
  • Ensure policies and processes align with current UK and Ireland employment legislation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting across ER activity, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Coach and support managers on handling employee relations matters effectively.
  • Identify trends within ER cases and use data to recommend improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, ensuring they are scalable and consistent.
  • Contribute to broader team initiatives and provide support across the function as required.

A bit about you

  • 7–10 years’ experience specialising in Employee Relations within a complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law, with the ability to apply it in practical scenarios.
  • Proven experience managing sensitive and high-risk ER cases with sound judgement and discretion.
  • Experience supporting change initiatives such as restructures and organisational transformation.
  • Confident working with multiple stakeholders, including HR, leadership, and legal teams.
  • Comfortable using HR systems and handling data to inform decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all levels.
  • You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and able to bring structure and consistency to evolving environments.
