Quality Auditor – FREELANCE

We are seeking a freelance Quality Auditor with proven expertise across knitted, woven, and true knit garments, and a strong track record of delivering high-quality, consistent results within the apparel industry.

Key responsibilities include:

1. – Reviewing production samples against sealers and PP samples to ensure alignment with approved standards
2. – Measuring and validating key points of measure for accuracy and consistency
3. – Assessing raw materials, trims, and yarn colours against approved lab dips
4. – Reviewing and documenting garment construction in line with EMEA make standards
5. – Leading a thorough, objective evaluation of overall production quality, identifying any deviations and ensuring all findings are clearly documented, actionable, and accurately captured within the NE quality template to drive consistency and continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviours

• Proficient in working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and adherence to accuracy of processes and information reporting.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective working relationships
• Strong follow-through and the ability address issues quickly.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across multiple functional areas.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or supply chain, or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ Quality related role experience (Knit, Woven and True knits)

We are anticipating this project to require 3 days a working with the relevant teams. This will be a mixture of office based and home working.
