QC Administrator required on a permanent contract, based in Cheshire. Requiring proven industrial experience in a Chemical Manufacturing/Laboratory environment, as well as experience with ERP systems (SAP etc.)

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (dependent on experience)

SRG are working with a multinational company who specialise in the creation of speciality chemicals for a range of markets. They are now looking for a QC Administrator to join their analytical team on a permanent basis, at their site based in Cheshire. This role will include supporting a busy analytical team with creating certificates of analysis, recording test data, approving raw materials amongst other data administration and processing tasks. This role will suit candidates who are in a similar position, looking to further their career with a global company. Alternatively, this role may interest candidates who are in analytical roles currently, who particularly enjoying the administrative side of their roles.

Role / Description

  • Set up and maintain SAP Quality Management master data, including inspection methods, master inspection characteristics, inspection plans, certificate profiles, and standard texts, ensuring accurate creation of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs)
  • Create and manage Quality Information Records for procured materials to support effective supplier quality control
  • Maintain and update SAP material master data, ensuring correct integration with QM processes and appropriate inspection types are applied
  • Manage inspection lots in SAP, including result recording, evaluation, and completion of usage decisions
  • Review supplier Certificates of Analysis against specifications, record findings in SAP, and ensure proper documentation and traceability
  • Process and generate Certificates of Analysis for relabelled, transferred, and dispatched products within SAP
  • Input and manage SAP data related to repackaging and production orders to ensure accurate quality tracking
  • Review, interpret, and approve QC test results and external laboratory reports before validating and recording quality data in SAP
  • Support operational efficiency by liaising with internal teams, managing quality-related queries, assisting with quality system activities, and raising and receipting purchase requisitions in SAP

Requirements

  • Proven industrial experience within a chemical manufacturing/laboratory setting
  • Experience with data inputting into complex ERP systems (SAP experience is desirable)
  • Strong data handling and attention to detail
  • Work well within a small team with good time management and organisational skills
