Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational workloads to ensure maximum efficiency
- Use in‑house and port/freight systems to process import and export shipments accurately and within agreed timescales
- Process customer invoicing and ensure supplier costs are recorded accurately
- Escalate operational issues that may impact service delivery or deadlines
- Maintain compliance with company procedures and operational standards
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide ongoing support
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to maintain service quality
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Previous experience ideally in a Sea freight, logistics, or coordination role (Road and air freight can be taught if no experience)
- Strong organisational and workload management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
- Ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive, professional, and team‑focused attitude
- Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and departments
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Hours
Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm – 1hr lunch break
Salary
£30,000 – £34,000 + Quarterly incentive scheme (After 6 months)
