About the Company

Our client is a growing, high-end residential developer with an excellent reputation for delivering quality-led residential developments across the Home Counties.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Technical Coordinator looking to take ownership of projects within a quality-focused business, working closely with the Technical Director and wider project teams to help drive developments from acquisition through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and managing external consultants including architects, engineers and specialist designers.
  • Assisting with the technical design process from land acquisition through to project completion.
  • Reviewing technical drawings, details and specifications to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Managing planning conditions, statutory approvals and utility applications.
  • Coordinating design information and resolving technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Supporting value engineering initiatives while maintaining design integrity and build quality.
  • Assisting with technical appraisals and due diligence for potential land acquisitions.
  • Working closely with commercial, construction and sales teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Monitoring consultant performance, design programmes and project milestones across multiple developments.

Qualifications

  • Experience working for a residential developer or housebuilder.
  • Proven experience in a Senior Technical Coordinator or Technical Coordinator role.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods, design coordination and development processes.
  • Experience managing external consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Good knowledge of planning, building regulations and statutory approval processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant construction, architectural or engineering qualifications would be advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Experience working for a residential developer or housebuilder.
  • Proven experience in a Senior Technical Coordinator or Technical Coordinator role.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods, design coordination and development processes.

Pay range and compensation package

Up to £75,000 + Package (DOE)
