Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for finance and business stakeholders.
- Partner with FP&A, finance, and operational teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Analyse financial and operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance review processes through robust reporting and insight generation.
- Develop and optimise data models, datasets, and reporting structures to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, consistency, and governance.
- Automate manual reporting processes where possible to reduce effort and improve timeliness.
- Provide variance analysis and ad hoc reporting to support decision-making across the business.
- Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business definitions and KPIs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in reporting, analytics, and performance management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar analytical role.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate meaningful insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools and data extraction processes.
- Experience working with ERP or finance systems is desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across finance and non‑finance teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings in a clear and business‑friendly way.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting finance team in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with SQL and other data querying / transformation tools.
- Experience in data governance, master data, or reporting standardisation initiatives.
- Exposure to international or matrix organisations.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, utilities, or related sectors would be advantageous.
