Supply Chain Stock Controller

Supply chain Stock controller at JR site, working Monday to Friday 5‑day service. Works closely with clinical staff and other members of the supply chain team.

The post holder will support the Stock Management Change Programme to transfer all stock locations onto the Trust Inventory Management System and ensure accurate inventory records, support delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide operational cover for absence in the Supply Chain Team to maintain continuity of service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled cycle counts across all clinical and non‑clinical departments in line with agreed counting programmes.
• Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies in collaboration with ward/department staff and Supply Chain colleagues.
• Ensure stock levels are accurate within inventory management systems.
• Escalate significant variances or stock risks to the Supply Chain Supervisor.
• Assist in identifying obsolete, slow‑moving, or excess stock.
• Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines for the Inventory Management system.
• Follow tasks as detailed by the Line Manager and Operating Procedures.
• Support the Stock Management Change Programme to transfer all stock locations onto the Trust Inventory Management System, and support the Site Supply Chain Supervisor in extending the Materials Management and the Inventory Management system throughout the Trust.
