NEL PP – Our group of hospitals provide a wide range of clinical services to people in North East London and beyond. Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a high performing organisation serving Hackney, East London, The City and beyond. The Trust provides hospital and community health services, with some services managed from St Leonard’s Hospital and the Mary Seacole Nursing Home. Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain and lead the operational aspects of the team; ensure the day-to-day function operates smoothly and that issues are dealt with proactively and positively.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the Trust and the wider North East London Integrated Care System/Integrated Care Board to ensure commercial processes, resources and systems are fit for purpose and provide a modern, efficient service specific to Homerton.
- Design and implement new processes to support Homerton’s procurement and supply chain functions, including contract register; structured savings plan; procurement work plan and standardisation plan.
- Support the team in a positive, inclusive and professional manner, ensuring a customer-focused ethic to end users and external suppliers alike.
- Support the team to engage with NEL PP and NEL ICS partners to realise efficiencies and improved working for the benefit of all organisations; ensure transactional procurement services meet organisational needs; focus resources on continuing improvements, supplier rationalisation and delivering cash-releasing savings.
