Programme Manager (Fixed-Term – 15 months)
As a Programme Manager, you will work closely with two peers and the Director to develop and deliver programme objectives through effective planning, coordination, progress monitoring, and support.
You will support delivery across key priority areas including the specialist residential children’s homes programme for Appropriate Places of Care and collaborate with stakeholders to agree a regional approach to Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and joint packages. You will also contribute to the development of wider joint health and children’s initiatives.
The role requires the ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team, alongside the confidence to work independently when needed. The position is hybrid, with an expectation of one day per week at the Wirral Development Office (Mallory) and occasional travel to other offices across the region.
This post is a 15‑month fixed‑term contract; secondment opportunities may be considered.
About the Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual with experience working in programmes or projects, ideally within health or public services.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, and will demonstrate strong organisational and analytical skills. You will be able to manage competing priorities, be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
