Chief Operating Officer (Commercial Growth & Operations)
I’m partnering with a well-established independent education provider on the appointment of a newly created Chief Operating Officer role
.
This is not a traditional COO or Director of Finance & Operations position.
The organisation is looking for a commercially minded leader who can help shape its next phase of growth, reducing reliance on core fee income and building new revenue streams across a substantial estate and diverse educational offering.
Key areas of focus include:
- Commercial growth and income diversification
- Developing summer schools, international programmes and partnerships
- Identifying new revenue opportunities from existing assets and facilities
- Leading expansion projects, including early years and specialist provision
- Driving operational excellence across finance, estates, people and support services
- Embedding a more commercial mindset across the organisation
The successful individual will sit at executive level, working closely with the CEO/Headmaster and Board to shape strategy, challenge thinking and deliver meaningful growth.
This role would suit commercially astute leaders from education, hospitality, leisure, healthcare, property, multi-site operations or other customer-focused environments who combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
