Key Account Manager – Foodservice

M4 Corridor

£45,000 + Car Allowance + 25% Bonus

The Advocate Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established food business with over 100 years of heritage and a turnover exceeding £100m.

Operating across multiple categories, the business boasts a diverse portfolio of market-leading brands that are trusted by Foodservice operators throughout the UK. With ambitious growth plans and a targeted 15% increase in sales this year, they are continuing to invest in their commercial team and strengthen their presence across key channels.

As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Key Account Manager to take ownership of the M4 Corridor territory.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional account management role.

You’ll be responsible for growing a broad mix of Foodservice customers including end users, regional groups and smaller chain operators, whilst also identifying and converting new business opportunities across the territory.

You’ll spend your time engaging with chefs, operators, buyers and decision-makers, helping customers unlock the full potential of a portfolio that genuinely offers something for every menu and occasion.

The territory has significant headroom for growth, making this an ideal opportunity for somebody who enjoys combining account management with new business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of Foodservice customers across the M4 Corridor
  • Build relationships with end users, chefs, buyers, wholesalers and regional operators
  • Identify and win new business opportunities throughout the territory
  • Increase distribution, visibility and penetration across existing accounts
  • Deliver customer-specific business plans and commercial growth initiatives
  • Support product launches, promotional activity and customer activations
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to maximise opportunities
  • Maintain a strong market presence through regular customer engagement and territory planning

About You

  • Experience within Foodservice sales, account management or business development
  • Strong understanding of the Foodservice and end-user landscape
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial growth
  • Comfortable balancing account management with new business development
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Self-motivated, organised and commercially driven
  • Full UK driving licence
