Hourly Rate – Circa £30p/hour

Control Panel Builder Overview

My client is looking for a qualified electrician with experience in control panel building. Candidates should be competent in wiring, assembling, and testing control panels, reading electrical drawings and schematics, and carrying out fault-finding where required. A strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail is essential.

The Control Panel Builder role will involve:

• Building and wiring control panels to electrical drawings and schematics
• Installing and connecting electrical components and equipment
• Testing and inspecting completed panels to ensure quality and functionality
• Carrying out fault-finding and rectification where required
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

The Control Panel Builder will need to have the following attributes:

• Qualified electrician or equivalent electrical qualification
• Previous experience building and wiring control panels
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and safe working practices
