Electronic Systems & Sensors Engineer

3 monthly rolling contracts

Hybrid working; 2- 3 days per week on site in Bristol, with WFH

The Systems engineer will be responsible for delivering/generating the project system requirements document and associated engineering test and acceptance plans for these Space Command capabilities. The System Engineer is to work with the Space Sub-theme and Defence leads, DSTL (as Subject Matter experts) and the Space Command sponsor/user, to deliver rapid effect to meet critical launch dates.

Essential Experience/Skills Requirement

• Have wide ranging depth and breadth experience of providing technical advice and delivery of successful ESS or Mechatronic outcomes; and
• Demonstrate experience of providing technical advice and leading the delivery of successful ESS or Mechatronic outcomes; and
• As a minimum be professionally registered as either:
• Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Registered Scientist (RSci) or Chartered Physicist (CPhys) or Registered Marine Technologist (RMarTech) or Advanced Registered IT Technician (Adv RITTech)

Desired Experience/Skills Requirement

• Have a breadth of experience in providing technical advice and delivery of successful outcomes relating complex system of systems, that include sensors, data distribution networks and LEO spacecraft/cubsats.
