Manufacturing Leader/ Manager

Great opportunity to work as a Line Leader for our client’s site – the largest co-packer in the UK. The site specialises in repacking products and offers a dynamic environment where you can develop your leadership skills and support efficient production operations. Staffline is recruiting Line Leaders in Haverhill. The rate of pay is £16.11 per hour. Overtime is available after working 40 hours and is paid at £24.17 per hour. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:– As a Line Leader, you will be working in a chilled environment and will be responsible for running and administering a production line. Leading daily production – ensuring safety checks, quality standards and hygiene practices are consistently met.– Monitoring product quality – completing first off checks and escalating any issues promptly.– Managing materials – reporting waste, damages or shortages as required.– Driving performance – meeting hourly targets and coaching staff on best practices.– Completing shift reports – and attending daily planning meetings.– Our ideal Line Leader will have:– Production line experience – including running lines and leading small teams.– Process-focused mindset – quality driven and confident in problem solving.– Flexibility – willing to work varied shift patterns and overtime.
