Project Engineer (Automation & Robotics)

Workshop based. Commutable from Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Worksop, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Barnsley and surrounding areas.

As a Project Engineer you will work autonomously, taking technical projects from concept through to completion and delivering high‑quality automation and robotics solutions.
The Role
- Oversee projects from cradle to grave, providing technical guidance and support throughout the entire life cycle
- Work within a small, rapidly growing team and contribute to continuous improvement
- Progress to a senior, task‑expert position once performance and expertise are proven
The Person
- Strong background in Automation, Robotics, Advanced Engineering, or bespoke machinery
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing project management
