Role Summary

As a Senior Front End Developer with full stack capability, you will be a pivotal member of our Software Development team in Clearing Technology, driving an AI‑first approach to the creation and enhancement of secure, responsive web‑based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain front‑end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with back‑end engineers to integrate C# .NET or Node.js services.
• Implement responsive, accessible user interfaces and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Apply best practices in testing, traceability, auditability, and deterministic system behavior.
• Participate in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment on AWS.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions to achieve scalable, well‑governed solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building responsive, accessible web applications.
• Working knowledge of at least one server‑side technology (C# .NET preferred or Node.js).
• Proficiency with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, automated testing).
• Strong understanding of applying AI responsibly in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with NoSQL or relational databases.
• Modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Cloud technology experience, ideally AWS.
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD and Agile/scrum methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Deeper back‑end experience with C# .NET (Web API, Entity Framework) or Node.js.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Understanding of financial products across derivatives, FX, commodities, and cash equities.
• Knowledge of the post‑trade lifecycle, including settlement and collateral management.
• Experience embedding AI capabilities into end‑user applications.
• Familiarity with SOLID and Domain‑Driven Design principles.
• Experience working in a regulated environment within the financial markets.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, MAS regulations and internal codes of conduct.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework and report any breaches to Compliance.
• Escalate risk events promptly and provide input to risk management processes.
