As our Registered Care Manager, you’ll be at the heart of a flagship service that supports people with sensory loss and learning disabilities to live full, connected lives through sport, the arts, and the development of real, lasting skills. Sense Hub, Belfast Contract: Permanent | 37.5 hours per week (Monday Friday, including evenings) A full UK Driving Licence and use of your own vehicle A minimum of four years’ practice experience in any health and social care setting, working with one or more of the groups we support Experience of supervising and line managing team members in accordance with policy and legislation in the care sector Working towards or completed a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Adult Management) Some knowledge of BSL and Makaton is desirable Managing rotas and annual leave Delivering a high-quality, person-centred service to people with learning disabilities Identifying individual needs and outcomes, and building plans around them Supporting individuals in their homes and communities to reach their potential Ensuring services meet or exceed Sense’s legal and organisational standards 24 days holiday + bank holidays; Free access to over 100 online and face to face training~ Ongoing development opportunities~ Flexible working and family friendly policies~ Employee referral scheme~ Health and well-being support~ Pension Scheme~ Discount scheme~ Sense exists for everyone living with complex disabilities, and for everyone who is deafblind.
