Senior/Principal Highways Engineer

Our client, operating within the highways sector, is currently seeking a Senior/Principal Highways Engineer for a 6-month contract. This role involves working with Civil3D and will likely be inside IR35. The start date is ASAP, providing an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to make an immediate impact on public realm projects.

Job Requirements:

• A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Civil Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience developing highway designs in line with industry standards and guidance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D for producing high-quality design packages.
• Experience with the Statutory Undertaker’s plant diversion processes.
• Strong written communication skills for compiling client and stakeholder reports.
• Working knowledge of CDM 2015 requirements and relevant responsibilities.
• Confident in communicating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work proactively and manage workloads efficiently.
