Production Shift Manager

£45,000 – £48,000 per annum

Location: Chard, Somerset

Rotating days and nights

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee all production operations and manage section leaders
• Develop and communicate long‑term visibility of requirements throughout the product lifecycle
• Plan, schedule and forecast activities; oversee procurement and ensure cost‑effective purchasing
• Interface between internal and external stakeholders
• Provide leadership and direction to direct reports and ensure objectives are met
• Support introduction of new manufacturing processes and share best practice across the group

Qualifications

• Strong engineering or manufacturing background with experience across multiple process lines
• Experience of people management including performance management, training and development
• Green Belt Six Sigma certification
• Knowledge of process improvement
