About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Manager to drive sales growth and expand our pharmaceutical wholesale customer base. The role will focus on developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and increasing revenue across pharmaceutical, healthcare, and medical supply markets.

The successful candidate must bring an established network of customers, pharmacies, distributors, healthcare providers, and wholesale buyers, with existing relationships that can support immediate sales generation and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow pharmaceutical wholesale sales across the UK and international markets.

Bring an existing customer base, active sales pipeline, and established industry relationships to support business growth.

Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with pharmacies, distributors, healthcare providers, wholesalers, and procurement teams.

Generate new business opportunities and convert leads into profitable sales.

Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and quotation through to order placement and account management.

Identify customer requirements and offer suitable pharmaceutical, OTC, healthcare, and medical products.

Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.

Negotiate pricing, commercial agreements, and payment terms with customers.

Develop strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market share.

Monitor competitor activity, market trends, customer demand, and pricing movements.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, opportunities, and sales activity.

Attend customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities as required.

Support the expansion of export and international sales opportunities.

Work with senior management to develop and implement the company’s sales strategy.

Ensure all sales activities are conducted professionally and in line with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare sales, wholesale distribution, or related sectors.

Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare market.

Existing customer base, customer relationships, active leads, and industry contacts.

Demonstrated ability to bring new customers and generate sales revenue.

Strong business development and account management skills.

Experience dealing with pharmacies, distributors, wholesalers, healthcare providers, or procurement teams.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Commercially focused with a strong understanding of margins, pricing, and profitability.

Self-motivated and results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Good organisational and CRM management skills.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance, documentation, and wholesale processes would be beneficial.

Arabic and English language skills preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, commercially driven, and well-connected within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.

They will already have an established network of customers, active opportunities, and strong relationships with pharmacies, distributors, wholesalers, healthcare organisations, or procurement teams. They should be capable of generating immediate sales opportunities while also developing long-term strategic accounts.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to win new business, increase revenue, maintain strong customer relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of the company.
