Annual Salary £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
You’ll work across a varied range of projects — taking concepts from initial idea through to production-ready designs — in a collaborative, creative design office where no two days are quite the same. The business is also expanding into graphic printing and visual design, so candidates who combine strong technical ability with an interest in illustration or visual communication will stand out.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing product concepts and taking them through to production-ready designs
- Creating detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings
- Producing clear manufacturing and installation documentation
- Working closely with production and engineering teams on DFM and cost-effectiveness
- Managing multiple bespoke and standard product designs simultaneously
- Supporting the development of graphic and printed elements within the product range
What we’re looking for
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Solid Edge — 3D modelling, assemblies, and detailed drawings
- Strong technical drawing ability and understanding of engineering tolerances
- Creative design mindset with a practical, problem-solving approach
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacture principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a busy design environment
