This is a hands-on, mobile role covering reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, compliance, and general building upkeep across our nurseries.
We’re looking for individuals who can confidently deal with virtually any maintenance issue that arises and lead by example with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
✅ Essential Requirements
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial building maintenance
• Mechanical Qualification – Level 2 or 3
• Electrical Qualification – Level 3 Diploma
• City & Guilds Level 3 Carpentry Diploma
• Proven multi-trade experience
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Must provide copies of all trade certificates
• Own tools and maintenance equipment required
Qualification desired not essential
Key Responsibilities
• Reactive and planned building maintenance
• Electrical fault finding and lighting repairs
• Plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Air conditioning cleaning and basic fault diagnosis
• Door access, intruder alarm and fire alarm repairs
• Carpentry and fire door maintenance
• Roofing and guttering repairs
• Installation of telephone lines and Wi-Fi extenders
• Drain maintenance
• Maintaining all maintenance records and logs
