Job Description
LH-Recruitment is partnering with an international company that specializes in total biogas and liquid storage engineering solutions. The partner is a pioneer in clean energy biogas storage systems and has won many new contracts across the UK and Europe. The company plans to grow over the next five years and is looking for Design Engineers to prepare 2D and 3D drawings, work with the Engineering Design Team, and develop new systems and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D/3D models of water, wastewater and biogas tanks (AutoCAD/SolidWorks)
- Create and modify component drawings
- Interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Update and amend outdated drawings
- Participate in design reviews and meetings
- Assist the Engineering Design Team
- Visit operational or new-build sites
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in biogas or water treatment and be an experienced CAD Technician/Draughtsman. Candidates should have a good working knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD/Draught sight and ideally hold a relevant engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, etc.). Experience working within a heavy process environment (biogas and water treatment preferred) as a CAD Technician or Design Draughtsman is required.
