We are currently on the lookout for a GI.Systems Monitoring Engineer to join our Operations Support Systems team at Computershare. This is a fantastic opportunity to impart your knowledge and develop your skills further.

A role you will love
The primary purpose of the GI.Systems Monitoring Engineer role is to deliver quality monitoring platforms and services, enabling wider audiences to leverage and gain insight into infrastructure and application performance & capacity through well‑designed monitoring platforms.
You will have the opportunity to operate on a fully remote basis and manage your work and time as you see fit.
Some Key Responsibilities
- Fulfil day‑to‑day tasks or those allocated, and provide technical guidance across the team, management, and global business stakeholders.
- Technical management and maintenance of Computershare Monitoring toolsets.
- Provide input into the technical direction, monitoring standards, policies, and reporting on services we provide.
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure requests are met and deliverables are communicated on agreed dates.
- Perform other system management duties as assigned; flexibility required to succeed in this high‑demand team.
What will you bring to the role?
You will have strong working experience with advanced monitoring concepts, application monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, automation, troubleshooting skills, and reporting.
Experience collaborating with peers and stakeholders across various global locations would also be beneficial.
Other Key Skills Required For The Role Include
- Enterprise Systems Monitoring spanning infrastructure, application performance monitoring, and modern log‑style tooling.
- Automation of processes (e.g., scripting, Azure automation).
- Experience coding.
- Client/server technologies with a core focus on Microsoft Server technologies.
- LAN/WAN/Internet/Extranet network technologies.
- Service Desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
Non‑Technical Skills
- Keep knowledge up to date and act as a technical resource for others, following technology practices and standards.
- Follow set processes and procedures, highlighting potential improvements including change management.
- Show analytical problem‑solving skills.
