As a Trainee Internal Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical support and product selections for consultants, contractors, and customers.
• Producing detailed fan coil schedules and quotations in line with project specifications.
• Ensuring product selections meet heating, cooling, acoustic, and energy efficiency requirements.
• Managing multiple projects and enquiries at different stages of the sales cycle.
• Building strong relationships with Architects, Consultants, Contractors, and End Users.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Identifying missing tender information and following up on project opportunities.
• Developing knowledge of HVAC products, industry standards, and market trends.
• Working closely with sales, production, and other internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.
We’re looking for someone who is technically minded, organised, and eager to learn:
Ideally, you will have:
• A genuine interest in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline, or work experience.
• A qualification in Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline
• A background in technical, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or sales support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
• A willingness to learn new systems, products, and technical concepts.
• A reasonable commuting distance to West Molesey.
