About the role

We are seeking applicantsfor a fixed term post until the 31st May 2027with excellent project management, analytical and communication skills to join the team who ensure there are sufficient education and childcare places in Cambridgeshire for children and young people in the 0-19 age range and up to the age of 25 for those with special educational needs and disability (SEND).

The successful applicant will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders (including schools, consultants, contractors, governing bodies, academy trusts and the Department for Education) to plan and deliver projects to meet this statutory duty andto ensure that contractual obligations are met.

Applicants need to be educated to degree level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the provision of early years and childcare places and school places for children and young people, including those with SEND, in the 0-25 age range.

We will consider applications for full or part time working, subject to being able to deliver the overall team capacity required.
