Compensation
- $140,000–$150,000
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead commissioning from design through building occupancy.
- Perform functional testing of MEP and life safety systems.
- Develop commissioning plans, schedules, and test procedures.
- Identify and resolve complex system performance issues.
- Lead meetings with owners, contractors, and design teams.
- Prepare commissioning reports and project documentation.
- Travel to client sites throughout the Southeast as needed.
What You’ll Need to be Considered
- Experience commissioning commercial or institutional building systems.
- Knowledge of central plant HVAC, electrical distribution, emergency power, and life safety systems.
- Willingness to travel approximately 35%.
- PE license (or ability to obtain) or commissioning certifications such as BCxP, CxA, CCP, or NEBB BSC.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, and related building codes.
