Civil Design Engineer / Senior Civil Design Engineer (Highways)

We’re looking for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join the team in our Annesley, Nottingham office on a Hybrid basis.In this role, youll be a key member of our Design team,that supports OHL (Overhead Line) projects from front end design through to construction. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to play a central role in delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UKs energy network! Communicate with colleagues at all levels as well as Contractors and Clients Carry out geotechnical desktop studies and risk assessment Produce specifications for GI, asset inspection, and pile design Carry out GI supervision and geotechnical lab scheduling Analys foundation capacity Temporary works design (excavation shoring, platform design, culverts etc.) New build foundation design (including pile caps) Existing foundation upgrade design Knowledge of various types of foundations.
