MEP Director / Head of Technical Services
Salary: £170,000 – £190,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Package

An established and ambitious construction business is seeking an experienced MEP Director to join its leadership team and play a key role in the next phase of growth.
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-funded, highly reputable organisation with significant expansion plans within the commercial fit-out sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical services across multiple projects, developing high-performing teams, and helping drive successful project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership across all technical services functions.
- Oversee the delivery of major commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Lead, mentor and develop Technical Services Managers and wider technical teams.
- Support pre-construction activities, bid submissions and client engagement.
- Drive technical excellence, innovation and best practice throughout project delivery.
- Work closely with operational, commercial and design teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
- Contribute to business growth through technical leadership and market presence.
Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with individuals who possess:
- A proven track record leading technical services on large-scale commercial fit-out or construction projects (£50M+).
- Experience managing multiple projects and technical teams simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to influence both internally and externally at a senior level.
- Experience working for recognised fit-out contractors, main contractors or specialist construction businesses.
- A commercial mindset with an understanding of how technical delivery contributes to business success.
- The credibility and presence to represent the business with key clients and industry partners.
