We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Neighbourhood Service Manager to lead our Adult Community Mental Health service (CMHRS) Spelthorne. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the delivery of high-quality, integrated care across local communities, working in close partnership with primary care, social care and voluntary sector organisations.
As the service manager, you will be responsible for the operational management and performance of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring services are safe, effective and responsive to the diverse needs of adults. You will champion a culture of collaboration, recovery and inclusion, enabling teams to deliver person-centred care while promoting staff wellbeing and development.
You will play a vital role in shaping and developing the integrated neighbourhood model, contributing to strategic planning, service improvement and quality assurance.
Temporary the position is based at Unither House, Curfew Bell Road, Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 9FG, in future the permanent based is at Bramdean, Staines-upon-Thames, Middlesex, TW18 1ED.
Main duties of the job
Operational Leadership:
Support the General Manager in leading the integrated community mental health team to ensure high-quality service delivery for all adults 18+.
Develop, review, and maintain systems to ensure the service aligns with national standards, CQC guidelines, local Trust policies and service plans.
Collaborate with other teams and work across organisational boundaries to ensure effective service alignment. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote an environment of involvement and recovery.
Team Management, Leadership and Development:
Have overall continuous management of the service, responsible for the coordination of roles, responsibilities and resources within the service.
Manage, support, and develop a team of mental health professionals, including managing VCSE staff in collaboration with VCSE leads.
Establish structures for staff to receive management and clinical/professional supervision.
Foster a collaborative, supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and service excellence.
Ensure that all staff members adhere to policies and practices that ensure high quality care and service delivery.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- A clinical qualification to degree level or equivalent. Membership of a professional body (NMC, HCPC, SWE).
Experience
- Significant management/leadership experience in Mental Health
- Siginificant experience working with people with Mental Health needs
