Main Duties
Plan & Develop a positive risk assurance culture for the future outlook the account, in line with the contractual obligations and tender requirements.
Manage an intelligence led risk solution to capture data and trends that will enable the client to operate and utilise a risk vs resource estate.
Develop and implement a roadmap of actions detailing timescales of delivery.
Oversee the contracts risk register.
Undertake and oversee the contract specific training program, owning the process and implementation of the program throughout the contract.
Production of specific SOP’s, scenario-based training, toolbox talks, table‑top exercises, training sessions and 1‑2‑1 walk throughs.
Develop and deliver an audit framework to champion service excellence throughout the account.
Drive evaluation and continual improvement cycle for the MOPAC security contract via the audit programme.
Create the Physical Security Risk Assessments where required.
Lead from security on partner liaison collaboration and workshops.
Maintain working knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and initiatives.
Ensure threat intelligence received is actioned throughout portfolio, utilising external risk averse resources such as CPNI and NaCTSO.
What we are looking for
- Preferred Security management experience of minimum 10 years, Previous risk assurance experience required.
- Experience in Strategic risk management, Operational threat assessment, risk assessment, and crisis management.
- Quantifiable experience in teaching, training and development.
- Proven capacity for security risk assurance design, development and delivery.
- Previous experience in delivering standards auditing and operational readiness exercises.
- Established expert in team training, change management, development and mentoring.
- Demonstrable capability to concept, produce and maintain improvement plans.
- Established solution design, development and delivery experience.
Health & Safety
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation’s Health & Safety strategy in line with UK legislation (including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements, approved codes of practice (ACOPs), and client‑specific standards.
- Act as the competent person for health and safety matters across the contract or business unit.
- Provide expert advice to senior management on risk, compliance, and best practice.
- Complete site audits.
- Oversee sites Risk Assessment and Assignment instructions to drive compliance.
- Over H&S incidents through management and investigations.
