Role: Client Delivery Director
Salary: £120,000 – £130,000

My client who is a leading global consultancy is seeking an experienced Client Delivery Director to lead and grow strategic client relationships with their Banking and FS clients. This is a senior leadership role requiring a balance of delivery excellence, commercial awareness, and technical credibility.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating across multiple levels of an organisation — from engaging with CIOs and senior executives on strategic priorities, to getting hands-on and into the detail when delivery challenges arise.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of large-scale, complex technology programmes spanning multiple workstreams and technologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including CIOs and technology leadership teams.
- Drive strong client relationships and identify opportunities for organic growth and expansion within accounts.
- Support revenue growth objectives and contribute towards business and account growth targets.
- Provide leadership during programme challenges, bringing a hands-on approach where required to resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, and technology teams to shape and deliver effective solutions.
Key experience and skills:
- Strong consulting background, ideally with experience in client-facing technology delivery and account growth responsibilities.
- Extensive experience within financial services, with significant exposure to banking environments being essential.
- Strong technical understanding across the broader technology landscape, including applications, infrastructure, architecture, and software engineering.
- Proven track record leading large-scale transformation programmes involving multiple technologies and stakeholders.
- Experience balancing strategic stakeholder management with operational delivery oversight.
- Demonstrated success working towards growth, commercial, and revenue targets.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and build confidence across teams and clients.
- Resilient character with the ability to navigate complexity and difficult situations effectively.
