We are seeking a passionate and organised Dog Grooming Technician to join our Dog Grooming provision at Easton College on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a practical learning environment, supporting both students and customers while helping to ensure the smooth operation of our commercial grooming salon.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the salon, managing customer bookings and enquiries, maintaining records and payment systems, sourcing suitable dogs to meet curriculum and assessment requirements, and ensuring the salon operates to the highest standards of animal welfare, hygiene, health and safety. The role will also involve supporting students during practical sessions, maintaining equipment and stock levels, delivering commercial grooming services during non-teaching periods, and contributing to marketing, recruitment events and community engagement activities.
We are looking for someone with industry experience in dog grooming, excellent customer service and organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to supporting learners and promoting high standards of animal care. Experience of working within an educational environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real contribution to the learner experience while supporting the continued growth and success of our commercial grooming salon. If you are enthusiastic about dog grooming and enjoy working with both people and animals, we would love to hear from you.
