About the role

You will be providing one-to-one live-in support to a female living independently in her own home. She is mobile and living with dementia. This is a companionship-led role focused on gentle daily support and reassurance rather than intensive personal care. A calm, patient approach is essential.

Duties include:

• Gentle prompting with personal care routines
• Medication reminders and breakfast preparation
• A daily walk of 45 to 60 minutes
• Accompanying to local shops and lunch outings
• Companionship throughout the day
• Support with evening routines
• Assistance with leisure activities

Requirements

• Previous experience in care, ideally with dementia
• Calm, patient, and reassuring manner
• Confident working independently in a live-in setting
• Right to work in the UK
